The nation's leading tobacco cessation program is looking to hire Treatment Counselors to their team! This company uses an evidence-based combination of physical, psychological and behavioral strategies to help individuals quit their addiction to tobacco. Using these methods, counselors aid their participants to lead a tobacco free lifestyle, and have successfully helped over 200,000 people quit. Treatment Counselor/Quit Coach
Using a variety of over-the-phone counseling methods, the Treatment Counselor motivates individuals to make life-style changes that will help them become smoke-free.
Responsibilities:
Provide individualized telephone-based assistance to participants using a proven, evidence-based behavior change program.
Counselors follow program protocols and utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and other tools to complete assessments and provide appropriate interventions to individuals' interested in quitting smoking.
Demonstrate a high-level of communication and active listening skills: ability to effectively problem-solve and work with a wide variety of people
Requirements: .
Bachelor's degree in related field
Call Center Experience appreciated!
Good computer and data entry skills
Must be able to commit to a schedule for at least 6 months
Bilingual in English/Spanish a plus!
Ability to work from home after 6 month training period in house
All applicants must be abstinent from all tobacco use for at least the past 2 years!
