Our search is for an (inside, or virtual office) Senior Claims Adjuster to work either in their Louisiana or South Carolina location.
KEY DUTIES:
Adjust commercial property ( apartments, condominiums, shopping centers, malls, restaurants etc), general liability and auto claims.
Settlement of first and third party claims.
Attend mediations, mandatory settlement conferences, trials, arbitration and depositions.
Determine coverage and liability exposure
Work closely with independent outside vendors
Agreed value, cause of loss, coinsurance, coverage extensions and additional coverage's, replacement cost and actual cash value.
REQUIREMENTS:
College degree required
5+ years experience in handling commercial property, auto and general liability claims
Work independently
Be proactive in approach to claim handling
Superior negotiating and analytical skills
Superior communication skills to work effectively with departments and with outside customers.
