We have an immediate need for a Security Specialist - WORK FROM HOME
JOB DESCRIPTION
This is a telecommute / work from home opportunity - 6 month contract - client located in NY/NJ area
Receive and analyze log files extracted from AS/400 partitions and provide the analysis of specific activities included in the log files as requested by the client.
Extract the log file from the partition.
Send the log file via FTP to a specific client IP address.
Analyze and document the activity description related to the specific log entries received from the client.
Return the extracted log entries with the description of the activity to the client.
Receive the request from the client for any further analysis/description, document additional feedback and return to the client.
Provide assistance in enhancing the Pearl script executed against the log file.
Provide a specific IP address to receive log files via FTP.
Create and maintain a Pearl script to be executed against the log file to extract specific log entries.
Return the specific log entries extracted from the log file to the current vendor for analysis.
Receive the activity description from the current vendor.
Review to determine if further analysis/description is needed and return any further requests for analysis/description to the current vendor.
Request assistance from the current vendor in enhancing the Pearl script, as required.
