My client who is a leading distributor of a wide range of Photonics, and Laser products now requires a further Technical Sales Engineer to support and promote sales within the UK.
You will be an experienced sales person, with the ability to self manage, and have an excellent focus on developing existing and new customers.
You will be responsible for selling a wide range of products including lasers, optics, optomechanics, and associated products, and be able to show a good level of understanding of the products and applications.
The typical markets that you will be selling into include – academia, medical, space, gas, oil, military and telecommunications.
You will be responsible for new and existing accounts, generating new business, visiting customers and attending trade shows and conferences.
Ideally you will be education to degree level or similar, and have worked in the Photonics, Telecoms or similar industries.
Depending upon experience, this can be an office, or a home based position.
For those wishing to work from a home office, my client would prefer candidates that already have experience of doing so.
To succeed you will be motivated, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be enthusiastic to meet and exceed agreed sales targets.
