Our rapid growth has created the need to add a highly qualified RN Surveyor with recent Long Term Care experience. This position will work remotely. If you have high energy, are a productive performer, and are looking for growth, we invite you to join our team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under general supervision, conduct Federal Comparative surveys in long-term care facilities to assess the State agency performance. You will visit long term care facilities around the country to perform the surveys and report findings to our Baltimore, Maryland location. The Registered Nurse Surveyor will act as the focal point for consistent application of methods, data collection and reporting to Project Manager during the onsite survey.
Requirements PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
1. Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
2. Must be able to travel at least 50% percent of work time.
3. Must be able to work in settings with infectious diseases.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor’s Degree, Masters preferred. Must be a registered nurse maintaining current licensure to practice.
• At least three current years experience working in the field of long term care.
• Must successfully complete CMS’s Long Term Care Basic Training and pass the Survey Minimum Qualifications Test.
• Possess evidence of current education regarding the standards of practice in nursing and in long term care.
• U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.
