COMPANY BRIEF:
Our client is a well-known, respected manufacturer of industrial automation control components. The company has a global presence and is known for their excellent quality. They manufacture a variety of control components including I/O interface and interconnect products, power supplies, surge suppressors, cabling and a variety of active and passive components related to industrial control applications. The company provides an exceptional work environment and has a history of impressive growth and innovation.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
We seek a regional field sales engineer who has aspirations to grow into a leadership role in the near future. Historical growth indicates the need to add additional sales engineers who would ideally report to the individual we seek to hire now. However, the territory must be first be developed to a level which justifies additional resources. The position will cover the Southeastern USA . The individual will need to be self disciplined to travel approximately 40% and work from a home office. The sales focus will be to direct accounts, basically OEM and end-users in a variety of in a variety of industries. The majority of the current account base is in material handling, machine-build, packaging machinery, printing and general automated manufacturing. The individual will be supported from an inside sales and applications team.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
$75-110K total
QUALIFICATIONS:
The basic qualifications would be for the individual to have functioned in a similar role as described above. Technical ability is very important as is familiarity with industrial automation control technology and related applications. High energy, self discipline and the desire to grow into a higher role of responsibility are some of the traits we seek.
