Our client located in Los Angeles, CA 90028 is in need of 2 LAMP developers. Candidates need to be strongest in PHP 5 and be able to work well with MySQL and Linux.
Skill-set and description:
Strong with PHP 5 and MySQL (BACK END DEVELOPMENT)
RDBMS '" preferable in the LAMP area, but Oracle or Postgres could work, SSH, HTML. Lots of back-end experience.
Client uses a lot of Web 2.0 theories
Need to develop for scalability, therefore their code needs to be clean and theoretically sound. These will be public websites.
They will be building these from scratch.
They will build CMS websites for entertainment information. Most of the data, layouts, content and libraries will be new and shared. Some of libraries and content may come from the client, but most will be new.
Project Duration 3-4 months
Start '" first week of November
Work onsite in Los Angeles, CA 50% and Work from home 50% (telecommute), possible overtime due to project
Submittal process '" Send resume to client for review, send candidate online skill assessment similar to Brainbench in PHP and MySQL, send completed assessment to client, arrange interviews.
Interview process '" Phone Screen, In-person interview, then start. The interview process will be very extensive in technical knowledge and ability. Candidate should be prepared for very technical questions.
