Maximo Java Programmer
Project Length: 2 months (possible extension)
Location: Hammond, IN
(travel and expenses reimbursed.
They will fly the consultant to the job site weekly and fly them home on the weekends or on Thursdays to work from home on Friday).
Job Description: specific experience w/ maximo java coding with MBO relationships and Enterprise Adapter Configuration (MEA). They will conduct quality review of junior developers and make code recommendations.
As a member of the Technical Team, the application developer is responsible for the production of the technical design, build, and test of custom reports, interfaces, conversions, and/or enhancements. During the various testing cycles and the implement stage, this role diagnoses faults and determines corrections. The application developer must understand requirements from the functional analysis and how to meet these requirements using the Data Model. Applies Knowledge of Business-IT Requirements. Uses Application Development Methodologies & Tools. Uses Applications Strategies for Maintenance. Develops Program Specifications. Performs Application Testing Activities(2)
If they do not have the maximo/java combination, they WILL NOT be considered. I had several candidates rejected as they were not strong enough with this specific requirement.
