Low Voltage Service Technician Job Description:
Our Alamogordo-based client is searching for qualified low voltage service/installation technicians to work onsite at Holloman Air Force Base.
Qualified candidates must have at least four years of experience in the security installation and service industry, or a two year technical electronics education with emphasis on both digital and analog circuits, and sound working knowledge of the PC computer platform and Windows operating system environment.
Candidates will be performing numerous duties, including some listed below:
-Perform service/installation of security systems and central station equipment
-Knowledge to install electrical conduit, back boxes, system wiring and cable supports
-Provide both remote (via telephone) and on site service to systems
-Ability to discern color-coded wiring and components
-Perform preventative maintenance
-On call service as scheduled
-Some knowledge of software/firmware/hardware support
-Work on ladders/lifts
-Sometimes work away from home for extended periods of time
Pay: $45,000 - $50,000 (Based on Experience)
