Job Description .
Company in the Orlando area is in search of a hard working, honest, fast moving, inspired developer with skills rivaling "ninja" levels on PHP / MySQL web development. We are working on a Music style (Drumming) Social Network style website and we need a developer that is able to work at least 3 days in the office per week, while working 2 or more (at management's discretion) days from home. We understand that developing is something best done in one's own environment and we are willing to work with you regarding that. If you are a musician or a drummer, this may be a very interesting job for you!
We are looking for a Full Time PHP / MySQL Developer with the following required skills:
1. PHP 5 Object Oriented Programming EXPERT 2. MySQL 5 Server / CLI and replication knowledge, as well as JOIN, UNION and other advanced queries 3. LINUX, APACHE, MySQL, PHP (LAMP) Configurations - You must have a knowledge of how to use Redhat / CentOS based Linux platforms. This will not be your primary function, but using it will be a daily task. 4. Basic Javascript experience to be used with to write, extend and debug Javascript for AJAX forms (form editing, in place editing, upload systems, etc.), Navigation Menus and user experience enhancements 5. XHTML and CSS - we are a WEB 2.0+ site 6. XML - You must have a very strong standard of XML and RSS protocols. We will be extensively using these protocols to enhance user experience without needing to go directly to the website. Feeds and etc.
The following would be a plus:
1. Subversion / TRAC - All code written is committed and tracked through a Subversion system. You must submit daily commits to subversion to provide management a method of tracking your progress. 2. Understanding of platforms such as CakePHP, Zend, and Drupal. We want to port AWAY from a Drupal website into a more clean and less server intense platform. 3. Optimization Skills - Database, Web Server, File Systems, etc. If you are skilled at optimizations to existing configurations then you may utilize those to enhance your applications 4. Graphics libraries such as GD and ImageCache - our site has multiple images and we must optimize them based on output size, purpose and etc. 5. Graphics Design / Photoshop / Flash 6. iphone Application Development
Salary / Workplace / Other Information
Salary for this position is starting $60k/year based on experience.

Work Days are Monday - Friday unless you have more work to do. This is a SALARY position. Relocation packages may be available up to a certain amount Employees MUST attend a physical interview (Evolving Policy) This position offers up to 2 work days per week for you to work from home, 3 days in the office, provided work is being accomplished efficiently.
