"Company: Well established, leading international manufacturer of engineered solutions for the transportation, electronics and medical markets. Privately held with over $400 million in annual revenue. Location: Houston or Austin, TX
JOB DESCRIPTION & DUTIES:
Meet or exceed established market share and sales targets for assigned account base
Develop sales forecasts and plan to grow business
Develop and implement a rolling 3 year strategic business plan for territory
Prepare and submit Monthly Reports to communicate significant field activities and record progress of critical customer programs
Develop principal contacts at designated key accounts (i.e. Dell, Hewlett Packard)
QUALIFICATIONS:
BS Degree in an Engineering discipline (mechanical preferred)
Minimum 5 years experience in key account sales working with technical or engineered products
Business management experience with ability to understand top and bottom line business issues and impacts
Excellent sales, communication, presentation, and listening skills
Computer literacy and the ability to develop proficiency in needed programs
Technical ability to explain product applications and propose customer solutions
Good customer service skills.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS: · Willing to travel between Austin, Houston and Dallas and quarterly trips to China and Taiwan · Work from home office "
