HRIS Project Manager
WORK FROM HOME CAPABLE: HRIS Project Implementation Manager is responsible for overall customer implementations, upgrades and migrations. This includes gathering customer requirements, day to day project activities, consulting and advising customers regarding product functionality and best practices using our product. This role is entirely customer facing and responsible for maintaining the success and profitability of projects. All issue escalation to the Vice President of Professional Services. This position offers remote work program or regional office location in Bay Area, CA, with travel to customers up to 40-50%.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
?Lead implementation, upgrade and migration activities with the customer, including but not limited to functional product training, configuration assistance, integration activities, functional and system testing activities, issues resolution and data mapping oversight.
?Manage day to day project activities with the customer, both onsite and remotely, including managing to project deliverables and project plan, conducting weekly status meetings and maintaining status reports, managing customer meetings and minutes, identifying and escalating project risk items and issues, and conducting any other required project management responsibilities.
?Lead customer scoping and design capabilities within the product.
?Lead requirements gathering and documentation of customer requirements.
?Provide customer with best practices and assist with process mapping and process redesign using our product (s) as a tool.
?Manage multiple customer implementations simultaneously and ensure all projects stay on track to project plan timeframes and budget.
?Develop a deep functional knowledge of all areas within the products.
?Contribute to an environment that encourages information sharing, team-based productivity, cross training and an absolute focus on resolving meeting deadlines for delivering our solutions.
Acquire and maintain current knowledge of relevant product and service offerings and understand their impact to customers.
?Participate in team projects that enhance the quality or efficiency of our products and services.
?Be available to the customers at extended hours as needed.
?Maintain a billable rate of at least 80% and participate in special projects to assist other departments within the organization as needed if not currently assigned to full capacity client assignments.
Education and Experience
?Minimum of a Bachelor?s Degree.
?At least 5 years working experience in project implementations, preferable HRIS/ERP or similar HR systems.
?Excellent project management skills for large scale implementations and system integrations.
?Experience and knowledge of human resources planning practices, systems and processes across a wide range of businesses.
?Ability to use project management tools, such as MS Project, issue tracking systems and deliverable templates.
?Mid level competency with Oracle databases and related tools such as TOAD and SQL*Plus.
?Prior experience implementing Enterprise software.
?Exceptional time management skills.
?Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
?Excellent organization and prioritization skills.
?Ability to work efficiently and independently.
?Ability to work under remote management.
?Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Must confirm willingness to travel within the United States at least 40-50%.
