This position requires a minimum of five years hands-on health plan relATed WORK experience with demonstrATed skills in functional health plan areas including: enrollment, member service, provider service, claims processing, benefits set up, billing and/or accounts receivable. CandidATe must have three years professional services consulting experience in project lead roles. A BA/BS Degree, advanced degree, and/or relevant certificATions are beneficial. The Project Leader:
Develops comprehensive project plans for specific segments of the project
Directs, coordinATes and supervises assigned staff and activities within area of responsibility for defined project segments.
Is responsible for the timely creATion, quality, and submission of assigned applicATions implementATion duties and project reporting deliverables.
Notifies the overall Project Manager of problemATic system issues and or variances in project schedules, budgets or other project performance issues, with recommended appropriATe solutions.
Develops, reviews, and documents systems test plans for assigned project segments. Leads or performs system tests. Ensures thAT test requirements are met.
Leads or assists in the development of content for sales efforts.
Provides advice and consultATion to help clients adopt best practice aspects of the applicATion implemented
DemonstrATes written and verbal communicATion skills and strong presentATion skills.
DemonstrATed leadership, decision-making and team building skills.
Strong people skills and demonstrATed ATtention to detail and problem solving ability.
Quick learner, self-directed, motivATed, and posseses a strong dedicATion and commitment level to assigned tasks.
Is proficient AT WORKing in a fast-paced, collaborATive, project-oriented environment.
RelocATion is not required and our consultants are generally on-site AT our client locATion Monday through Thursday and WORK FROM HOME on Friday.QualificATions
Basic QualificATions
Bachelors degree or equivalent combinATion of educATion and experience
Five or more years of experience managing small to medium-sized projects of low to medium complexity
Experience WORKing with CSC CATalyst and/or equivalent client-mandATed project management methodology
Experience WORKing with clients vision, business objectives, and critical success factors
Experience WORKing with scope control techniques and change-in-scope authorizATion process
Other QualificATions
Skilled in estimATing and common project management desktop tools
Good communicATion skills
Ability to manage competing priorities in a complex environment
Ability to devise creATive solutions to address problems and issues
Ability to convey a strong presence, professional image, and deal confidently with complex business or technical problems
Willingness to travel
