Job Description
Field Service Representative
Work for an international industry leader!
This international industry leader has an immediate full-time opening in Minneapolis, MN for a Field Service Representative. This position requires experience with equipment repair involving mechanical/electrical skills. Requires a good customer service attitude/personality, a valid driver's license, excellent communication skills, and strong technical skills. Must be able to work with minimal supervision as you will office out of your home. You will be provided a company vehicle, laptop, cell phone, and company credit card. These Field Service Representatives will be provided extensive training and will be responsible for travelling throughout a territory conducting scheduled maintenance, preventative maintenance, installations, emergency maintenance, and managing service requirements; however, you are home most nights! Will troubleshoot equipment problems, including fault isolation and diagnosis at account locations to ensure equipment is operating at maximum level and is cosmetically presentable. Will deliver and repair equipment and supplies. Will write and present contract proposals to customers and perform product evaluations at the customer's site. Will provide effective, proficient, and timely service and repairs to all customers in direct support of the sales and service efforts to gain and maintain customer loyalty. Will grow the service business in the territory through the selling of service parts, billable labor and travel, and coordinating with sales to identify and close service contracts. There is a lot of autonomy in this job and you have the ability to grow your business and earn more commissions! You can do this by providing excellent customer service, so your clients will re-up their service agreements with you and take your suggestions on adding more products and services to their contracts!
