Key responsibilities:
* Lead in the analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation of eCommerce solutions for leading clients using the Sterling Commerce (Comergent) Multi-Channel Selling platform.
* Leverage application development and team leadership skills to develop effective teams.
* Collaborate with customer personnel and enablement partners in a success-oriented project team environment.
* Work closely with Quality Assurance and Development teams to coordinate customer requirement functionality requests.
* Display clear and effective verbal and written communications skills during interactions with clients and team members.
Requirements:
* Strong business knowledge of supply chain management, customer relationship management and/or eCommerce.
* Hands-on experience with eCommerce applications. Training in and implementation of the Sterling Commerce Multi-Channel Selling software (formerly Comergent) highly desirable.
* Knowledge of the current trends in network applications, including distributed platforms, TCP/IP, messaging standards, and B2B eCommerce, especially Comergent.
* In depth knowledge of messaging architectures, standards, and other recognized web languages (XML, cXML, RosettaNet, BizTalk, etc).
* 2-5 years experience customizing, integrating and/or implementing large scale enterprise software applications.
* Experience designing and implementing web based applications. Experience in both back end and UI design & development is required.
* Recent leadership experience in delivering customer-facing solutions by translating customer needs into application features and functions.
* 3 years experience with Object-Oriented technologies, including hands on programming skills in C++ or Java.
* Proven expertise in Web programming, including use of HTML and other client-side technologies.
* Hands-on database design and implementation experience with Oracle, SQL server, Informix, Sybase, or DB2.
