Expanding New Jersey market research firm seeks a research sales professional. Qualified candidates should have at least 3+ experience selling marketing research to major companies nationwide, a track record of exceeding sales goals, and a working knowledge of research operations.
Requirements The Business Development Director is a consultative selling position.
The Director will be responsible for:
Developing client contacts
Writing effective sales proposals and responses to RFP's
Designing research studies to meet client objectives
Sales & final report presentations
Overseeing the execution of the research by our internal Project Managers
Reporting of sales activity
He or she will target new opportunities and build ongoing relationships with clients. Excellent verbal and written communications skills are required. Superior time management and organization skills are necessay. Possible work from home alternative.
Must have proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and Powerpoint. Required education: Bachelors degree.
