A cutting-edge video management firm is seeking an Associate Enterprise Architect for a Temp to Hire, Work from Home position.
Position Overview:
You can work from a home office, making extensive use of home office technologies. Daily communication with other team members via Skype (VoIP), AIM, Cell and other methods is required. Some customer support and in-field debugging is also required. The work week is flexible. You are generally expected to be available between 8 am and 5 pm, but may take a 2-hour lunch and work nights. Compensation is commensurate with experience and displayed qualifications.

Our Client is a rapidly-growing company that develops cutting-edge video management, distribution, and broadcast tools for the collegiate athletics market. Their software makes extensive use of distributed systems theory in order to allow colleges to share videos with other colleges, TV stations, new media outlets, and consumers.
This is a Contract to Direct Hire position, through Volt Technical Resources - a division of a Fortune 1000 publicly traded Staffing Industry Leader, based in Atlanta, GA. We are among the largest IT staffing companies in the US for contract/temporary and direct hire placements and support most of the top rated IT companies in the Southeast.

Required Skills for this Associate Enterprise Architect position include the following:
Candidates must have the following skill sets; additionally, experience with Distributed Systems and/or P2P applications is a major plus:
2+ years of C++, C# Systems-level development (Not Web)
Strong Object-Oriented Design skills
Knowledge of Windows internals
Multi-threaded Programming/Synchronization Primitives, and associated issues
C++/COM Win32 APIs experience required
.NET/COM Interop experience
Experience with a full cycle of shipping commercial software products
TCP, Windows Sockets, and full understanding of Layer 3 systems
Additional Desirable Qualifications include:
Experience with P2P applications and development
OpenGL, DirectShow, DirectX or other graphics
Embedded systems development a plus
IP Streaming and P2P Streaming technologies
LinQ, ORM, SQL Server
x64 Platforms, Vista
