Procurement Director, Ad and Media

Hudson has been engaged to identity and recruit an experienced candidate to develop and manage global and regional sourcing strategies for Advertising and Media Marketing Services.
In this role, you will:
• Develop and implement best practice sourcing strategies relevant to the above categories;
• Develop an understanding of future business objectives in order to design and implement consistent and efficient processes and systems for the acquisition of professional services;
• Participate in cross-functional teams;
• Participate in the process for selecting and managing providers;
• Manage the vendor selection and negotiation process; establish and maintain contractual and business relationships with vendors; monitor contract compliance and adjust sourcing strategies based on changing business needs;
• Drive annual productivity improvements. Develop, champion and ensure implementation of ideas that will optimize the Company’s expenditures in this area;
• Measure and track performance within each spend category and define budgetary impact;
• Monitor contract compliance and customer satisfaction;
• Ensure strategies are implemented and cost reduction is realized;
• Develop and implement processes to monitor and track external resource expenses;
• Remain current with market trends through relationships with vendors and market experts and identify and communicate new technologies and solutions;
• Work effectively with key stakeholders to ensure best practices are widely adopted by Company’s operating units..
In order to be considered suitable for this position you will require a Bachelors degree however, a graduate business education is preferred. You will have a successful, multi-year track record in sourcing or procurement, including specific expertise in the above categories. Financial, project management, process analysis and design and technical skills are highly desired as well as a demonstrated ability to work successfully in complex, team-oriented, multi-national business environments. You must have excellent communication and negotiating skills, both verbal and written.
