CIC’s client base comprises numerous top FTSE and NYSE listed companies, including 5 of the top 20 pharmaceutical companies.
CIC aims to become a major force in the US market. The company has a well established US technology and telecommunications practice; and in 2008/2009 it plans to extend its successful business model for the pharmaceutical sector into the US market.
Purpose of Role
To lead the establishment and expansion of CIC’s Healthcare Practice in the Americas so that the unit becomes a leading provider of competitive intelligence solutions to the pharmaceutical, biotech, devices and other healthcare sectors.
Key Responsibilities
o Recruiting, developing and retaining full time and freelance talent.
o Eliciting organizations’ competitive problems and matching CIC solutions to them.
o Winning new business and establishing CIC as our customers’ preferred supplier.
o Communicating effectively key findings and actionable insights from projects to clients.
o Within in a corporate framework, developing and executing the practice’s marketing strategy.
o Managing the unit’s P&L and achieving agreed revenue and profit targets.
Experience, Skills & Attributes
CIC seeks a very knowledgeable, well connected and engaging Healthcare professional. Ideally, this person will have acquired experience of R&D, sales, product marketing and business management within the Pharmaceuticals sector. Excellent leadership, consultative selling, interpersonal, business analysis, client advisory, oral and written communications skills will be needed to make a big impact in this very exciting and potentially rewarding role.
