POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Seeking candidates with real-world .NET development experience. Candidate should be fully versed in front and back end programming, utilizing VB.Net and ASP.NET. The ideal
candidate will be comfortable in a fast-paced environment, be willing and able to contribute to design sessions, and deliver quality solutions using smart client and web based software in VB.Net to support multiple clients.
Perform the following:
** Develop new software architectures to satisfy functional system requirements
** Implement new designs in VB.Net and SQL Server 2005 using the existing base foundation
** Develop new SQL Server 2005 stored procedures to support this system
** Use existing designs and code as applicable to reduce completion time
** Estimate completion dates for specific modules
** Conduct software functionality reviews
** Change software as necessary to achieve the desired end-results
** Install and release software to test and production environments
** Correct defects as they are found by the testers
** Provide support for new modules
** Train other resources on software design and coding details in order for them to support the software
MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
** Completed BS/BA degree in Computer Science
** 6+ years SQL Server or Oracle
** 2+ years .Net 2.0 and VB.Net with Object Orientated Design and Development Experience
Successful history of work from home assignments
** High-Speed Internet access
**MUST LIVE IN EASTERN TIME ZONE
**MUST HAVE RECENT 100% TELECOMMUTING EXPERIENCE
PREFER EXPERIENCE WITH THE FOLLOWING:
** ASP.Net
** Test Driven .Net
** NDOC
** Report Server 2005
PREFER
** Developer with computer that already has following tools installed (with licenses):
- Visual Studio 2005 Professional
- SQL Server 2005
- Visual Source Safe
