Technical Customer Support Center Specialist
Note: this position is open to all qualified candidates on the East Coast and Central Regions of the US. Incumbent will work remotely from a home office. Start up training will be provided.

Technical Customer Support Center Specialist RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide technical phone support to customers, product specialists, and Infor Services consultants answering complex questions on function and use of product (MP2, MP5i, and 7i versions). Primary contact between customer and Infor. Will provide technical, functional application, ASP connectivity, bug verification, release testing, and beta support. May occasionally perform onsite client work including installation, implementation, or trouble shooting. Strong emphasis on problem solving. Good knowledge and use of process. Excellent written and oral communication skills necessary for clear phone communication as well as email communication and creating outbound knowledge records. .
REQUIREMENTS .
Technical Customer Support Center Specialist EDUCATION &EXPERIENCE:
This position requires 1 3 years experience in technical support, customer service, or consulting within the software industry AND knowledge of Oracle, SQL, or Access databases. Basic knowledge of Infor s Datastream MP2, MP5i, and Datastream 7i products as well as databases and operating systems that they run on is STRONGLY PREFERRED, but not required.

Bachelor s degree in computer science, business, or related field.
