Job Description: This position allows the associate to work from home, anywhere in the US. Currently, John Q. Hammons Hotels Management is seeking an experienced Regional Director of Sales for our Mid Atlantic/South East Region. This position will support a portfolio of Embassy Suites, Hampton Inn, Marriott Renaissance and Residence Inn by Marriott hotels.
The primary responsibilities of this "sales leadership position" will include the daily practice of the maximization of total hotel revenues at the assigned properties. This will be achieved through the development and tactical implementation and execution of Revenue Generation Initiatives and Strategies relating to Group, Corporate Contact, Local Negotiated, Contract Crew and Catering Revenue Segments. The Regional Director of Sales role will be highly participative at the property level in supporting the development and execution of revenue generation strategies. This position will be expected to ensure that successful plans and actions are executed at each assigned property. You will also be expected to complete each Period End a thorough review and analysis of each property to ensure that the results of our current strategies are producing the predicted results and you will provide direction on changes and adjustments that must be made to ensure our revenue success. .
Job Requirements: BA/BS 4-5 year degree or foreign equivalency.
Requires a minimum of 5-10 year(s) of experience.
In preparing for this position candidate ideally will have had responsibility for at least 10 properties/regions.
Properties supervised include both limited and full-service hotels. .
