DESCRIPTION .
Pharmacist
Office Environment, Monday - Friday, No Weekends, No nights, Full Time, Perm Position, Full Benefits and Paid Time Off!
Will have "on call" phone for 1 week every other month. During that week - you work from home - no need to go into office.
Pharmacist needed to perform prospective &retrospective drug utilization review to identify drug related problems, such as duplication, severe drug-drug interactions, side effects, and cntraindications.
Answer telephone and written requests from providers, conduct research to reach a decision on all requests.
Reviews clinical documentation of all MEP. Review oral/written responses from prescribers &evaluate them against standardized guidelines.
Issue prior authorization according to established protocols.
Maintains knowledge of MEP criteria, policies &procedures.
Create records for beneficiaries utilizing Pos Web. .
REQUIREMENTS .
Pharmacist Requirements:
- Must have Bachelors of Science in Pharmacy or a Pharm D. - Must have a minimum of two years clinical experience &one year of retail experience.
- Must be PC Proficient
- Must have excellent verbal &written communication skills. .
