DESCRIPTION .
KLR is currently assisting a Fortune 500 company in identifying a patent prosecution attorney to assist with a long-term telecommuting project. In addition to being registered to practice before the USPTO, candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in either physics, electrical engineering, computer engineering or software. The ideal candidate will have prosecuted a minimum of 50 and drafted a minimum of 25 patent applications from scratch.
In this role, the successful candidate will implement and manage intellectual property strategies for various projects in collaboration with scientists and analysts, prepare and prosecute US Patent Applications on a broad selection of inventions, and manage the preparation and prosecution work by mentoring agents and coordinating outside counsel work. Additionally, the position will include the preparation and negotiation of various Intellectual Property agreements and coordination of activities with patent attorneys.
