Request Notes: We are looking for an experienced Senior Instructional Designer specializing in instructor-led IL training developmentpaper-based and virtual. This person will be responsible for reviewing the work of the IL design team and provide constructive feedback and recommentions for enhancement. This person should have experience creating technical and telecommunications courseware. He/she must demonstrate experience creating innovative training and applying appropriate best practices learning strategies Proficiency with Blooms Taxonomy, adult learning principles and information mapping required Must create sound learning objectives and design documentation Develop valid/reliable assessments Excel regarding Kirkpatrick''s Four Levels of Evaluation Communicate instructional design ideas effectively with constituency team, subject matter experts, IT personnel, vendors, &production personnel Understand the concept of blended learning technologies and coordinate with eLearning counterparts. Ability to mentor peers, project manage, document and communicate blended-learning project plan Ability to manage project to schedule and budget. We want someone with a degree master''s degree strongly preferred in one of the following areas Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, Adult Learning, Educational Psychology, Cognitive Sciences, etc. Candidate should have project management experience in a corporate environment. This person is expected to work in a full-time temporary capacity. The preferred location for this candidate is Atlanta GA 0 Century Parkway or Denver CO 5 East 40th Ave. However, we are willing to consider someone who would like to work from home. They must have 5 years of experience in the instructional design industy, excellent communication written, verbal and interpersonal skills, demonstrated project management experience and be an expert MS Office user Outlook, PowerPoint and Word in particular and Information Mapping. Knowledge of system simulations software, distance learning/conferencing tools and video broadcast training is required. The offer is for a six-month contract that may be extended. Candidate should have own Windows-based PC with Windows 2000 or XP. Courseware samples are required if the candidate is selected for an interview.
