Job Description:
This is a part time position 16-20 hours per week, paying $15.00-$20.00 per hour based on your experience.
Initial training will take place in the Wall Township, NJ Offices. The successful candidate will be eligible for the bonus program after 90 days.
As the successful candidate you will:
gain a working knowledge of carriers and shippers
use your excellent communication and organizational skills to coordinate transportation
direct shipper/carrier prospecting through telephone sales and email marketing
use your interpersonal skills to successfully identify transportation solutions that are time and place relevant
have strong analytical and planning qualities with the ability to take the given assignments and work independently to solution
be self motivated, able to work in a fast paced environment with limited supervision
be able to meet changing daily challenges, quickly find solutions and communicate effectively to meet deadlines
follow up with calls and emails and reports directly to owner
You are expected to develop business in an independent minded and entrepreneurial style.
The incentive compensation is based on expanding company profit relationships which are reviewed and paid quarterly.
Job Requirements:
Telephone and E-Mail Prospecting for the development of new clientele.
Communicate effectively over the phone and follow up with computer generated call reports directly to the owner.
When the successful candidate completes training he/she will have the opportunity to meet weekly for meetings with the owner ...take daily assignments by phone or email from the owner and work from a home office with the availability of an office in the NY/NJ area for meetings. .
