Software Group provides the foundation for On Demand Business. We are the
world's largest provider of middleware and the second-largest software business

including Linux, Java and XML. Primary responsibilities include providing
consulting and implementation services for the Content Management family of
products at IBM s key accounts. Primary responsibilities include providing

services teams, lab-based developer and support teams and partners to help build
your technical expertise on the latest Information Management technologies.
Additional responsibilities will include delivery of Best Practices offerings
and assistance in product installation, troubleshooting, performance tuning and
designing enterprise Content Management architecture.
Demand for our consultants is high and you should expect to travel most weeks
(average 65-75% travel). This is a remote position and candidates can
live anywhere in lower 48 states with reasonable airport access. Bachelors
Degree in Computer Science or equivalent. IT, MIS, or other Technical field of
study. Major Customer/End User requirements &relationship mangement; Strong
written and verbal communication skills; Comprehensive understanding of Win/Unix
environment; Software installation procedures; Implementation of server-based
J2EE architecture; Experience with web-based applications and portals;
Understanding of unstructured content types and use; Desire to learn and stay
current technically; Technical skill in any listed in "Experience" section
Desire (any or all) experience with: Java programming; WebSphere; CM; security
mgmt. Hands-on experience with other software packages that interface with CM
including: OnDemand (print-stream objects); CommonStore for interfacing with
Exchange or Domino servers (ingest of emails); Document Manager (DM), IICE an
IIOE. Services/Consulting experience with large customers preferred but not
