Fortune 200 technology company's NY office has 1-2 openings for a Senior Counsel with 7-10 years experience to provide legal and contractual support to the company's sales, delivery, and distribution
business. This sales team sells hardware, software, and services to the financial services industry. You must be able to handle strong NY sales personality-types. The position's manager is in California, so the position allows a lot of autonomy. You will be working on sophisticated deals and after several months of acclimating to the position, you can work 1 day/week from home. There are 10-15 attorneys in the NY office and 2-3 attorneys on this specific team. This position is ideal for
someone wanting to leave the 80-hour billable grind at law firms. The person in this role will need to have broad transactional experience in drafting and negotiating sales, service, distribution, commercial IP contracts and experience
with confidentiality, and privacy legal issues. Candidate must also have a demonstrated track record in successfully handling and finalizing challenging negotiations with large, multi-national corporations. Please have a strong knowledge of U.S. antitrust, privacy and commercial international law principles.
