Job Details
We are searching for an experienced Human Factors Usability Engineering
Consultant who advises their customer on application development methodology and
tools. They perform as experts on application development for existing or new
applications. Responsible for User Interface design and analysis. This role may
also advise on packaged application solution implementation and be an expert on
functional or technical modules/features for packaged applications. Will help
guide and teach their customer's project members.

Desired Skills
Must have strong evaluation skills and usability testing with 3+ years
experience with User Interface Analysis, User Interface/Web Development, UI
Evaluation Techniques &Lab Testing, Rapid Prototyping (Visual Basic, Java, HTML
and Dreamweaver), UI Design Standards (Windows or Web), UI Object Oriented with
C++, Java, VisualAge required as well as experience in Human Factors computer
usability studies. Must have client management experience, excellent
communication skills, project management and case management experience. PHD in
Human Factors, consulting experience with clients, Intranet/Internet
user-interface design experience is preferred. This position is Live Anywhere in
the U.S. and 100% travel during the week (home on weekends).
Since the majority of our consulting work is done at our client sites, this
position requires up to 100% travel.
It is also expected that newly hired resources into the Global Business Services
U.S. practice live within a reasonable commuting distance (generally 50 miles)
of the following cities: Atlanta, GA; Boston, MA; Charlotte, NC; Chicago, IL;
Cincinnati, OH; Columbus, OH; Cleveland, OH; Dallas, TX; Denver, CO; Detroit,
MI; Hartford, CT; Houston, TX; Kansas City, MO; Los Angeles, CA; Miami, FL; New
York City, NY and surrounding area; Philadelphia, PA; San Francisco, CA; and
Washington, DC.
