Career Opportunity Profile
Network Recruiter for Hospitality Career Services

Company

Hospitality Career Services (HCS) is an Executive Search Firm that recruits exclusively for USA Hotel Management positions. The typical HCS client is a hotel owner or an executive from a hotel management company. These clients engage HCS to recruit Department Head and General Manger candidates for their hotels and executives for their Corporate Offices. This is a company that is very integrity based and takes great pride in helping people. HCS has been in business since 1995 and has placed Hotel Management Candidates in all 50 States. HCS take great pride in offering the highest levels of service to all of our constituents. We help candidates find employment, we help employers find employees, and mostly we help our team by providing a position where all HCS team members can enjoy more person time as everyone on our team works out of their home.

Work Location

The Network Recruiter will work from their home-based office. Hospitality Career Services is based close to Phoenix in the town of Cave Creek, Arizona.

Last Person who held this position

The last person to hold this position decided to rejoin the Hotel Industry as a Director of Sales.

Hiring Process

Candidates that successfully complete the Hospitality Career Services (HCS) screening process will be granted an interview with Mitchell T. Prager CHA who is the President of HCS. The screening process includes verification of previous employment; drug screening, background investigation (criminal, civil, social security, and credit). Candidates must also provide a reference name and telephone number from every past employer. Mr. Prager will make the final hiring decision as soon as possible. Once the successful candidate is made an offer he or she will have up to 48 hours to either accept or decline the position. The successful candidate must begin working within three weeks of accepting the employment offer.

Organization Structure
The Network Recruiter will report directly to Mr. Mitchell T. Prager CHA who is the President of HCS. We are on a first name basis and everyone calls him Mitch. The Network Recruiter will not directly supervise any other employees and is an Independent Contractor and not an employee of HCS.

Position Information
This position will appeal to an individual with Hotel Management experience who would like to work from home. Mitch will provide you with recruiting assignments in the form of an Opportunity Profile (OP). This document is a good example of an OP. Your main goal is to recruit candidates for the position outlined in the OP (a lot of telephone time), screen out the unsuitable candidates, type up candidate presentations on the suitable candidates, and email their Candidate Presentations (CP s) to Mitch. The CP is typically two pages and includes an overview of why this is a good candidate for the job, a summary of the reference checks you did on the candidate, and the candidates resume. A lot of your telephone time is on cold calls although you will also receive leads from the HCS database and Internet Recruiters.

Candidate Requirements
The Network Recruiter will be required to sign an independent contractors agreement which includes a non compete clause. The Network Recruiter must commit to return every voicemail and email by the end of the next business day. Personal attributes must include honesty and integrity. Professional attributes must include the ability to speak warmly, professionally and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. A background in hotel management is required and hotel Human Resources or hotel sales is preferred. Experience with and the mindset to welcome telephone sales rejection as an opportunity is a requirement. Candidate must have a home office with a computer, Internet access, email, fax machine and be very comfortable working with all of these business tools. The Network Recruiter will be required to install an additional dedicated telephone line for this position.
The successful candidate needs to be very organized, as they will be working on many different recruiting assignments at the same time. The Network Recruiter will be receiving return calls from candidates, colleagues, candidates and must be able to recall who is calling and about what.

Compensation
The Network Recruiter will email an invoice to Mitch on the last day of the month and Mitch will mail you a check for payment in full within seven days. No deductions will pay taken out of the paychecks, as the Network Recruiter will be an independent contractor. HCS will pay the Network Recruiter a monthly base of $500.00 to help cover expenses and a commission of $1,000.00 for each placement made in a calendar month. Example one placement for the month = $1,500.00 two placements for the month = $2,500.00 three placements for the month = $3,500.00 four placements for the month =$4,500.00. A placement is considered effective the day that the I.C. s candidate begins working as an employee for HCS s client. .
