Health Information Organizer/WORK AT HOME
Description:
Working out of your home is the key to this position. We are looking for solid candidates who have the skill set for this position. The right candidate will be organizing plaintiff's medical and non-medical records, outline records, prepare investigative reports, and identify missing information. They will be reviewing medical records and abstract specific information so therefore the right candidate must have extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with in patient medical records.
Requirements:
Strong medical terminology knowledge. Attention to detail and the ability to priortize multiple tasks. 2 - 4 year degree in a health care discipline. Strong computer proficiency. You must have a minimum of 2-5 years of experience in medical records or other related health experience. Prior experience with in-patient medical records is a must. Strong Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point) is required. A plus for this position is RHIA of RHIT certification. This position requires a 1 week traing period on site and you must be available to come on site for mandatory meetings.
This is a full time position with some overtime required.
There are specific requirements for the Home PC.
