DESCRIPTION .
Glory (USA), Inc., a national leader in computerized banking systems and coin and currency cash handling equipment for the banking, retail, casino and armored car industries has an immediate opening for a Field Service Technician in our Los Angeles and surrounding area territory.
The candidate we seek will have good mechanical skills and sufficient electronics knowledge to be able to trouble shoot problems with the use of basic electronic test equipment. Previous experience repairing copiers or banking related equipment is a plus. We will train our technician on the repair of our equipment. Our technicians work from home with periodic travel to the Regional Office in Cypress, California or West Caldwell, NJ for training.
This is not a computer repair function and is more closely related to the repair and maintenance of office copiers, fax machines and printers. .
REQUIREMENTS .
Some overnight travel required. Basic knowledge of P.C. hardware and software (i.e. replacing hard drives, installing software ,working knowledge of Win 98 or higher, MS Excel, etc. Mechanical ability including use of hand tools and gages to replace or adjust pulleys, belts, gears, etc. High School and/or trade school education. Associates Degree in Electronics desirable or equivalent experience. Personable with good people and customer relation skills. Ability to work independently with good time management skills. Reliable automobile and clear driving record.
