Job Description .
POSITION MAY BE UNDERFILLED AT THE ADMINISTRATIVE SPECIALIST I LEVEL, SALARY RANGE: $37,306 - $61,522
The employee will work under the Administrative Services Manager's supervision and will be responsible for providing administrative support in the contract monitoring and personnel administration functional areas. Major duties include: development of acquisition solicitation documents (IFBs, RFPs, REOIs); development and processing of contract task orders, monitoring and administering DTS contract actions. The employee will run various reports, analyze data, present finding and recommend the best course of action to the ASC in order to assist managers in administering personnel matters. The employee may also monitor the annual budgets as related to contracts. Other administrative duties may be assigned. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required for this position. .

Minimum Qualification Experience/Licensure/Certification .
Experience: Two (2) years of administrative experience in such areas as procurement and contract administration, cost accounting, budget monitoring, and personnel administration. (An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.)
If underfilled at the Administrative Specialist I level, minimum qualifications are: Bachelor's Degree and one (1) year of administrative experience related to contract administration, budget monitoring, and personnel administration. .

Preferred Criteria .
The selection process for this position will consist of an evaluation of your training, education, and experience in the following areas. .

1. Experience using financial management systems, preferably the County's ADPICS/FAMIS automated accounting systems (or similar accounting systems) and accessing ERD reports to extract and analyze information;
2. Experience working with procurement regulations/procedures and experience in contract development, administration and monitoring;
3. Experience working with Personnel Regulations and Administrative Procedures;
4. Experience in human resource management and coordination of administrative activities within an organization;
5. Experience in using applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint) to perform research, compile/analyze data, prepare reports, including extensive Word contract document.
