This Category Manager position requires a 4 year business related degree, a very strong analytical background and experience with significant experience on IRI or Nielsen category management tools, techniques, processes and procedures. This position requires strong understanding of "Best Practices" with regard to syndicated data sources.
Working with a team of professionals, the best candidate would need to possess 3-4 years of relevant experience within the CPG industry (grocery or non-food/HBC) and also have some previous experience with CVS. Additionally, good proficiency with Spectra and Panel data are required for consideration.
Compensation is $80-85K plus 25% bonus potential and company car. This person would integrate at the CVS account 2-3 days a week, and work from home the rest of the week. Also, weekly meetings for the CVS team will be held at the southern Boston sales office.
