VUI Programmer / Analayst

Job Summary:
Fine tune existing IVR/VUI call flows and help implement new more efficient intuitive, human factor response.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The VUI (Voice user interface) Designer duties will include, but not limited to the following:
** Work with business units to decide what impression they want the call flows to give. Do they want them to quickly prompt the caller through the IVR or is their goal to keep them on the call as long as possible.
o Fix a user ID, they want to quickly get them to tech support or get it fixed. To get info about medical insurance data, they want it set up to walk through more prompts to extend the call.
** Work with Nuance engine to set up call flows.
** Will work on new development projects as well as some production support
** Will work with the business units to handle some troubleshooting and support
** Document new standards, policies and procedures.
** Work with recording studio on sound of voice and will coach recording person on impression.
Qualifications:
** Experience with VUI design of call flows.
** Experience with user profile structure and human factors.
** Experience with voice and talent coaching.
** Experience with usability testing and recording structure.
** Soft skills of understanding speech patterns.
** IVR/VUI 3rd party vendor experience.
** Creative problem solving.
** Excellent oral and written communication.
** Work well with team members.
** Ability to jump in at a critical stage and give 100% effort.
** IVR/VUI and/or Nuance experience a big plus.
