Job Title: Unix System Administrator, Veritas Netbackup, Network Legato, Remote
Job Description:
CDI Business Solutions is currently looking to fill 2 Unix System Administrator opportunities. Remote, work from home office, 12 month contract, W2 only, no corp to corp applicants please. Ideal candidate will have 3-5 Unix System Administration and experience scripting in PERL or any shell, 2 -3 years with Network Legato / Arcserv and it's fundamentals, 5 - 7 yrs experience with Veritas NB 5.x to 6.x which include configuration of netbackup clients, media server and master server configuration. Will be responsible for creating and configuring Storage unit devices. Debugging backup failure codes and tape devices issues. Netbackup fundamentals are essential. Familiarity with Netbackup DB agents (RMAN, INFORMIX On-BAR, SQL, BCV, Teradata). 3 -5 yrs experience working with media of-site management and NB Vault, TCP/IP protocol. 1-2 yrs experience with Command Central Reporting or VBR, Netbackup Puredisk, Esx or VX Ranger Excellent Communication Skills Detailed oriented Excellent Customer Service.
