Technical Support (Home-based) How would you like to work from home as a Technical Support Representative?

Volt Services Group is a Fortune 1000 company, traded publicly on the New York Stock Exchange. The Technical, Computer, Engineering & Professional Division of Volt Services Group furnishes contract and direct-hire opportunities for Computer Engineers, Technical Hardware & Software Support Personnel, Computer Operators, Network Technicians and many other professions.

We are working with one of the fastest growing companies in the remote PC service industry!

This company provides online computer help services for the home, home office and small office markets though the Internet using remote access technology. Their remote services include support for: PCs, MP3 players, PDAs, other mobile devices, networking and network devices, printers, digital cameras and any software, connectivity or operating system level issues. They were recently recognized with the New England Innovation Award by the Smaller Business Association of New England.

Since they are growing so fast, it's hard to keep up and they are immediately looking for Computer Support Technicians! Candidates bilingual in Spanish or French-Canadian are desperately needed!

This is a "home-based" position. You can work from your own home, there is no office to travel to and from!

REQUIREMENTS:To be considered, candidates MUST have the following credentials:

" 3 years minimum of desktop or call center support for all of the standard Windows based systems. Previous technical support experience with Mac OS based systems a bonus.

" Demonstrated strong technical skills with all Microsoft Windows OS and application support and networking.

" Must be well versed in resolving all common computer problems including viruses, slow performance, errors, e-mail client set-up, software installation and configuration, wireless networks and peripheral problems.

Certification(s) including but not limited to: A+, MCP, CCNA, MCSE, CCNP, Net+.
*Candidates without certification or failing to provide supporting documentation from accredited institute will not be considered for this position.

**Immediate need: Those bilingual in Spanish or French-Canadian, PLEASE INQUIRE IMMEDIATELY!

Candidates will also need the following for remote set-up:

" High speed Internet access.

" Dedicated Windows based computer with XP Pro at a minimum.

" Quiet, private workspace.

" Dedicated phone line - No VOIP.

A variety of shifts exist over the 24x7x 365 timeframe, some evening/weekend shifts will be required. Most shifts are day (1st shift) and afternoon (2nd shift).
