SQL DBA REMOTE
Location: Greensboro, NC (REMOTE)
Long Term Contract 1 Year W-2 Only
CDI Corporation has a position available for a long term (1 Year) SQL DBA contractor. Position is with a large/reputable computer corporation located in Greensboro, NC but this position is remote (work from home). Qualified applicants will have the following skill set:
Work can be performed in any US city. No travel is required.
MS-SQL physical DBA. Must have extensive SQL 2000 and SQL 2005 experience.
Must have extensive Data Warehouse experience. Must have excellent scripting skills; development
background is a plus. Must have excellent communication skills and customer interfacing skills. Must be a
self starter and be able to work independently. Routine task will be: install and maintain the DBMS;
patch the DBMS; add, delete and move data bases; establish backup and recovery process; proactively
monitor data bases; problem identification and resolution; performance tuning; security compliance;
maintaining an audit ready environment.
Special skills requirements: MS-SQL 2000 and 2005; windows; SQL data warehousing; scripting
