The ideal candidate can communicate with clients and ExactTarget personnel to diagnose and resolve complex customer issues. Support Specialists deliver quality technical solutions in a timely manner by analyzing problems, researching new issues, and prescribing solutions.

Major Responsibilities

• Ensure customer satisfaction by providing technical support to ExactTarget’s clients, partners, employees via telephone, email, and chat channels
• Provide clients with technical support by ensuring the appropriate problem escalation procedures are followed.
• Resolve client cases. Create action plans and follow through to closure.
• Communicate problem resolution and status to the client in a factual, professional, timely, and consistent manner.
• Advocate for clients by driving product improvements and enhancements. Provide feedback to Product Development regarding the utility of the ExactTarget software.


• College degree in computer science or related field
• Minimum of 2 years experience providing technical or application support
• Home PC with high speed internet
• Knowledge of MS Office products and familiarity with web based applications, products and services
• Proven problem solving, troubleshooting, and issue resolution experience
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills are required
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong project management/problem management capabilities.
• Basic understanding of database structures and experience with writing SQL queries
• Basic understanding of HTML programming
• Ability to participate in after hours on call and late shift rotational schedules

Additional Skills

• Marketing and design experience are desired.
• XML, Javascript programming experience a plus but not required

Position could be a work-from-home opportunity.
3rd Shift – 10 hours

Tuesday 9pm-7am Wednesday
Wednesday 9pm-7am Thursday
Thursday 9pm – 7am Friday
Saturday 9pm – 7am Sunday

Overnights #3
Monday 9pm-7am Tuesday
Wednesday 9pm-7am Thursday
Thursday 9pm – 7am Friday
Friday 9pm – 7am Saturday
