THD At-Home Services, Inc. provides in home sales and service to The Home Depot's growing base of "do it for me" customers. Our services include a full line of replacement windows, siding, roofing, fencing and gutters products and installation services. THD At-Home Services, Inc. provides customers with the every day value and uncompromising customer service that has made The Home Depot so successful.
The Programmer is responsible for the coding and testing of enhancements and modifications to company applications. The Programmer will take ownership of projects and be able to support issues that arise from all the branches and branch office support.
ASP.NET Developer with Classic ASP background
VB.NET 1.1, 2.0, AND Classic ASP
Additional skills: JavaScript, Visual Studio 2003/2005, T-SQL, SQL Server tools, Conversion from Classic ASP to ASP.NET
Test programs using data in SQL Server warehouse and provide test plans or backup documentation.
Communicate and troubleshoot issues in a timely manner.
Organize and manage programs/stored procedures so that turnover to DBA is flawless.
Follow-up on projects that get released into production, to determine if any issues.
Document processes, modifications, and enhancements to programs.
Gather specifications, design, code, and test
Obtain sign-off on completed (released and tested) projects.
Continue to keep up with technology.
Track record of success necessary: must be able to work independently and within a small team.
Ability to multi-task with excellent verbal/written communication skills. .
