Regional Field Manager (Small Law Firm) - Philadelphia, PA

The Regional Field Manager directs the selling and subscription retention initiatives of the sales representatives within the region. The RFM manages, coaches and successfully motivates his staff in such a way as to achieve and exceed sales targets and quotas. Responsibilities: * Attains regional sales quota * Recruits, trains, coaches and motivates sales representatives and special account representatives (SARs) * Obtains and provides information on market and competitive conditions within the region * Oversees the negotiation of major sales and revenue retention initiatives within the region * Analyzes sales territories and recommends quota and territory alignments to improve sales performance * Provides recommendations on proposed new products and editorial enhancement of existing products * Assists sales representatives in the resolution of customer-related issues * Plans, coordinates and conducts regional sales meetings Qualifications: * A minimum of 4 successful years of field sales, legal publishing industry preferred * 4 year college degree or equivalent experience * Exceptional working knowledge of sales concepts, methods, techniques and strategies * Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills * Strong sales management and negotiation skills * Effective time management skills * Able to work from home office and travel within sales region.
