Job Description .
We are looking for a receptionist with a warm, engaging, talkative personality. People skills are a MUST! We are a counseling practice that needs someone to do simple administrative tasks, answer the phones and schedule new client appointments. You will get exposure to the field of psychology and the business end of private practice, so if you happen to have an interest in these areas, this job is the perfect fit. We need someone who is a "people person". Experience and education are not required for this job; applicants will be selected almost entirely on personality, ability to connect to clients over the telephone during scheduling, and attention to detail with administrative tasks.
A significant benefit of this job is that you may work from home a lot of the time. Our biggest need is for someone to answer the phone, and we can forward our calls to your cell or home line. Scheduling is done online, so you need access to a computer from home. If you work from this office, you will have a computer available. Although you will have the option of working from home, you will be expected to be available in person during the full work week as needed.
We will begin your job with an hourly rate; however we are open to giving a salary and health benefits over time if you prove valuable to our practice. We strive to pay our employees above and beyond the typical rate, especially if you are flexible and open to all assigned tasks and become a strong contributor to our team.
