Job description:
Our client, an established public company based in Southern California, is 51redefining the paradigm of 1 GbE and 10GbE switching as the first mover in distributed network switching51. They are currently looking for a senior Cisco network engineer to work from home in Northern Virginia.
The ideal candidate must have at least five (5) years of experience with Cisco equipment through the Catalysts series. We need to find a solid understanding of BGP, OSPF and EIGRP. Ideally, the right candidate has an understanding of 802.11 wireless implementations and maintenance as well as an across the board understanding of the Cisco security suite i.e. Pix, IDS, ASA, VPN. Experience with Juniper equipment would set a candidate apart from the rest of the field.
