We are currently seeking Long-term Disability Claims Specialist to support our Bloomfield CT office. This is a 100% work from home position after completion of a 4-8 week raining program.
Major Duties and Functions Include:
Will provide exemplary customer service by processing group disability income insurance claims in a timely and accurate manner. The successful candidate also:
Manages an assigned caseload of long-term disability (LTD) claims.
Conducts claim validation analysis to provide high quality, timely claim decisions.
Determines appropriate claim benefit duration and ensures claim payment accuracy and timeliness.
Partners with internal resources including general and specialized clinicians, vocational rehab consultants and Social Security specialists to provide world class service to our claimants and customers.
Access to a superior claim service platform including new proprietary technology available at MetLife
What You Need to Succeed:
Requirements include 3 + years of Long-term Disability (LTD) experience,
Associates degree (or higher) preferred.
Attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal skills
Ability to Work From Home 100% of the time
