Information Systems Programmer
Association of College Unions International seeks information systems programmer
The information systems programmer will be responsible for developing new applications, rewriting existing applications, and facilitating database integration for several systems. The ideal candidate is able to work autonomously on various projects while also contributing to the Associations web team discussions and prioritization of work on a regular basis. Some opportunity for flexible hours/the ability to work from home is available.
Qualifications:
Working knowledge of Microsoft .NET technology.
Experience with Microsoft SQL, ASP, ASP.NET, VB.NET, JavaScript, and HTML.
Experience with development and reporting tools in a relational database environment.
Familiarity with SQL Server 2000/2005 stored procedures, triggers, referential integrity, and other database concepts.
Direct experience performing development tasks in a Microsoft technologies environment.
Knowledge of office automation techniques using Excel, Word, and VBScript.
Experience with HTML and Style Sheets is a must.
Demonstrated understanding of the following concepts/tools/architectures: relational database design, transact-SQL stored procedures, configuration management, application integration, component reuse, service-oriented architecture.
The ability to communicate and articulate is essential.
Working knowledge of Ektron CMS400 is a plus.
