RESPONSIBILITIES: - This position can be a full time Work at Home. - Working within the Aetna Integrated Informatics group (AetInfo), the successful candidate will ensure that we are providing best in analytic consulting services to one of Aetna s largest customers. You will be responsible for seeing the story in the numbers and evaluating alternative actions. - Work closely with the customer and Aetna colleagues to maintain and fulfill an analytic agenda of strategic analyses. - Our reports will integrate data across many areas, including medical, Rx, behavioral health, dental, care management, disability, workers compensation and FMLA leave administration- Experience with these multiple areas will be a plus. - Work closely with Aetna senior managers to produce regular health plan monitoring and trend analyses. - Work closely with other AetInfo consultants in planning and producing analyses; coordinating resources in a team environment. - Serve as champion of the customer. REQUIRED SKILLS: - This position requires high-level skills in data quality assessment, data analysis, analytic statistical concepts, hands-on use of Aetna decision support systems and knowledge of corporate benefits business practices. - Strong customer presentation skills are critical. - While you will be working with SAS and SQL programmers and statisticians, the position does not require hands-on programming. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: - This position will be dedicated to the analytic support of one of Aetna s largest customers, and the position will be known as Chief Informatics Officer in the Aetna team dedicated to serving that customer. - The Chief Informatics Officer will lead the development of a customized reporting suite that meets the objectives of the customer. - You will be responsible for the content of the reports, while a technical team will handle programming and IT issues. - Our analysis and reporting rest on a foundation of integrated information; we combine information on products and programs so that the customer understands and can act on the inter-relationships between them.
