About the Facility Claims Auditor
T3 Worldwide, an expert in the automation of professional claims audit, is now taking hospital claims auditing to the next level. We are enhancing the effectiveness, scalability and productivity of audits by combining the expertise of seasoned facility claims auditors with sophisticated technology and process excellence. T3 is looking to hire experienced facility claims auditors to join its team to share in the success.
Responsibilities:
Review and analysis of hospital claims to identify the discrepancies between charges, medical records, contracts and enrollment data.
Use hospital and payor systems to locate and review the medical records and claims data
Use data analysis reports for more effective identification of the billing discrepancies.
Communicate with hospital departments regarding the discovered billing discrepancies
Understand and follow HIPAA rules regarding access to protected health information
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in a clinical or health-related field
3+ years of healthcare claims auditing experience with at least 2 years of facility claims auditing experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar tools
Excellent interpersonal communication and problem solving skills
Work Conditions:
Work from home
Flexible hours, requiring a commitment of 20-45 hours per week
10% travel
Availability of a broadband connection to the internet
