We have several openings for RNs with clinical experience in our Cypress, California office. As a Healthcare Decision Support Coach, you would help our members make positive healthcare choices by giving them telephonic advice. This is an opportunity to step away from direct care while improving members’ health. There are varied shifts available (with shift differential pay) including days, evenings and nights, with every other weekend required. After the chosen candidate has proven his or her ability, there may be a work-from-home option. Our team is friendly and supportive and we offer a casual work environment. Key responsibilities of the Healthcare Decision Support Coach include:
Handling inbound calls from assigned members who are seeking information
Assisting members with finding the appropriate care and provider
Helping members affordably manage their conditions
Consulting on treatment and general health decisions
Researching information online and in our internal data banks
Qualifications .
Requirements for this position include:
A current, unrestricted RN license in your state of residence
Clinical experience
Good assessment skills
Computer proficiency
Additional assets that would be helpful include:
Knowledge of discharge planning
Managed care experience
MS Office skills
A Bachelor’s degree in nursing
Home Health knowledge
ER experience
Experience Cardiac/Pulmonary Rehab
A background working with seniors
