Field Sales Representative/Account Executive
T.K. Keith Company of Wakefield, Massachusetts offers a wide range of business services that meet the credit card, debit card and private label card system needs of businesses and financial institutions throughout North America and the Caribbean. Since its inception in 1981, T.K. Keith Company has grown to over 95 employees, and intends to add several positions in the coming months.
We have immediate openings for a full-time Field Sales Representative to work out of their home office in Washington DC, selling merchant services to hotels, restaurants and retailers.
Responsibilities include:
Conduct cold calls, call on qualified leads and close sales
Prepare and submit cost quotes and proposals
Maintain and develop a sales prospect list
Determine needs and expectations of prospects
Confer with management, operations and other divisions to support a prospect
Communicate with sales manager on pre-established basis regarding status of prospects and closings
Requires meeting monthly sales quotas as determined by company
Initiate, recommend and/or provide solutions through designated channels
Establish rapport, develop customer relationships and provide exceptional sales techniques by using “The Consultative Sales Approach”
Demonstrate awareness of the importance of protecting professional image for self, our products and the T.K. Keith Company
Local and regional travel required
Qualifications
1-3 years of experience in outside sales
Strong prospecting skills and ability to research and develop leads
Strong work ethic, team player and the ability to work independently
Strong computer and math skills
Strong communication and service skills
Excellent selling, closing and objective-setting skills
Must have knowledge of sales strategies and proven ability to manage complex sales processes
Ability to gather date, compile information and prepare reports
High school diploma required; college degree desired
Ability to work from home office required
The pay for this position includes a base salary plus commission, and is estimated to be around $47,000 per year with unlimited earning potential. T.K.
