Job description: We are hiring english tutors to teach conversational english to students in other countries. This is a work from home position as a contract worker. English MUST be your first language. There are two ways to work for us. The first allows you to teach english over an internet program that allows you and the student to talk through headsets and see each other through webcams. This program is a 24 hour/ day program and is very flexible. However, you must commit to 10 hours minimum per week. The second program allows you to teach your student over an internet phone that will be provided. You will need some typing skills for both programs in order to type while teaching. You must be reliable, educated, and motivated. We are currently hiring to cover three shifts during the peak learning times in Korea. You can work one or two of these shifts. These shifts are as follows: 5am - 8am Monday through Friday 5pm - 7pm Sunday through Thursday 10pm - 12am Sunday through Thursday We offer VERY flexible hours, but prefer that you start out with one of these three shifts. This is a perfect job for stay at home parents, retired teachers, college students and other people who are looking to work from their home part time. .
Job requirements: This job requires an associates degree and less than 1 years of experience. .
Additional requirements: To be considered for this contract position, you must have an updated computer with either Windows XP or higher OR a recent Mac operating system. You will also need a headset with microphone and webcam if you are interested in the flexible program. .
Directions to business: This business is based in Lansing Michigan, however, our teachers work from their home offices. We will consider teachers from all over lower Michigan. .
